Foolish Vs. Faithful: Who’s Being Foolish?

Foolish Vs. Faithful: Who's Being Foolish? For the foolishness of God is wiser than man’s wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man’s strength. (1 Corinthians 1:25 NIV)

Foolish

Forward Friday! No argument from me. Those who find Christianity foolish- the trick will be on them. A trick I never want to see played- for eternal life in hell is no joke. The only one with tricks up their sleeve is satan. He is here to steal, kill, and destroy. It’s only foolish to reject a close relationship with Jesus.

Believe

Interesting enough- we cannot just believe. James 2:19…You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that and shudder. Seems demons have better understanding than many individuals. Demons understand God’s power and sovereign authority. They even begged Jesus avoiding torture in Matthew 8:28-34. This did not end well for the large herd of pigs.

Victory

Let’s make sure our stories end in victory. Do away with foolish thoughts and actions realizing…God’s wisdom and power is not only wiser and stronger- it’s available to us. Once we believe with a true commitment, growing in knowledge and wisdom flames more desire to seek a closer walk with Christ. The Bible is full of direction and promises applicable to daily life. Every day builds on the next, flames bursting with more excitement.

Plateaus

With every new spiritual plateau, we stand in awe. Only long enough to understand we have not arrived, just gearing up for what’s next. New season, new levels becoming fully equipped to fulfill our destiny.

Nutrients

Ready to begin or refuel? Nutrients are very important to the education process. Spiritual nutrients are vital to our spiritual journey. Spiritual nutrients are attending a Bible believing church, studying God’s Word, praying and fasting. In doing each of these, we learn to love like Jesus loves. Hearts become full overflowing with God’s goodness. His Spirit permeates from within reaching outward to others.

Faithfulness

Thank you, Jesus for your faithfulness to guide and direct. Detours become old, straight paths are available when humbling ourself to pray for God’s direction. His plans are perfect, more than our minds can grasp. How about giving God’s plan a try. A win- win!

Be encouraged!
