But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.” (1 Samuel 16:7 ESV)
Motivating Monday!
Motivating Monday! Pump up the volume, pump the volume! Let’s get this party started. The week before Easter…much time will be spent on outward charm from dress to hiding baskets. How much energy will be spent conditioning our hearts? Stop- do not click off.
Conditioning
Conditioning is a good thing. To all desiring or need encouragement to continue exercising, keep going. In our minds we tell ourselves great benefits of conditioning- see impact in others taking conditioning serious. However, nothing will happen until we have perfect harmony working between our heart and mind-for this matter- any change needed in life. The heart and mind is a powerful duo, especially if helped by The Holy Spirit.
Perfection
Amazing to think…Jesus died and paid a ransom, we could never pay. Jesus, perfect in every way, crucified as the ultimate sacrifice. As if this was not enough- He sent a gift. The Holy Spirit is gifted through salvation. Once received, we ignore or accept directional nudges. Accepting His help is a great benefit to our lives.
Gift
A gift set aside is useless. We talked about this last week in a Bible study I attend. I’m excited to hear if anyone asked for The Holy Spirit’s help- I did. It’s really fun- as I stand amazed every time. For example, changing bed sheets when bed is up against the wall is challenging. Following direction from The Holy Spirit removes any struggle.
Specialty
Interesting enough, conditioning hearts is His specialty. Out of the heart, the mouth speaks. In order to turn the most deceptive organ around to a well spring of life- we go through major conditioning. Learning to guard our hearts, increases integrity and character. With deception increasing in our world, a well spring of life…sounds refreshing.
Be encouraged!
