Plans: Having Courage, Taking Leaps

Plans: Having Courage, Taking LeapsFor I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11 ESV)

Plans

It’s an advantage to know difference between good vs. evil. We learn difference through developing discernment. Chocolate covered cherries appear divine, yet inside cherry may be rotten. Sin appeals to the eye, leaving individuals sucker punched. Satan, father of lies, known to deceive. God has specific plans to prosper each one, with a future and hope.

Message

In Matthew 3:3 John the Baptist’s message declared, “Repent, for the kingdom of Heaven is at hand.” For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah when he said, “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: Prepare the way of the Lord; make his paths straight.” Prophecy fulfilled.

Proclamation

I want to proclaim, “Repent, deception is sweeping the land. Seek Truth, Biblical Truth will set you free. Be holy, because Jesus is holy.” A clear and simple message. Why all the societal confusion? Could it be pretentious efforts based on surface appearances with rotten inside? For God to release amazing plans for our future and giving hope, He works from inside out. With heart and mind transformations, true beauty surfaces.

Courage

Stepping into God’s plans takes courage. For this reason, He tells us not be discouraged. To begin blogging was a huge leap of faith. I can hardly believe we’re into four years. Taking leaps of faith reminds me when younger I wanted to jump off the high dive. I stood hesitating on the platform. Eventually, I jumped- I think I was four. I always loved to swim. When older- more mature, I wanted to backward dive from the high dive- I not only hesitated, I backed off platform several times until my courage grew to succeed.

Hesitating

I seem stuck hesitating on the platform- anyone feel same way? With much to be done, we have no time for delay. Earthly minds only comprehend God’s plans by seeking, developing greater knowledge and wisdom. Even then, it’s necessary to discern between good vs. evil.

Moving Forward

It’s Forward Friday! I’m tired of backing down. How about you? Let’s move forward this weekend seeking and trusting. With courage, taking leaps of faith into next move in God’s plan.

Be encouraged!
