The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. (1 Corinthians 2:14 ESV)
Experiences
…cannot understand. Individuals build life experiences assuming their foundation is solid. If not built on Jesus Christ, foundation is nonexistent. Therefore, right vs. wrong will not be spiritually discerned. We end up with a nation assuming political correctness, when spiritually discerned, we understand judgement will come.
Foolishness?
Things of the Spirit of God is foolishness to the natural person. What I am about to discuss will stand to their reasoning, yet I want to offer wisdom, spiritually discerned. As Christians, we speak truth in love. For there will be a day when we are held accountable down to every careless word we speak.
Wrong/Right
This issue with Target is a perfect example. In the last days, wrong will be right and right will be wrong- this is deception. Men in women’s restroom is simply wrong. Transgenders have changed restrooms for years. What is happening, evil has awakened. Every evil doer now has an open door to walk through. Do we remain silent or stand firm?
Standing Firm
Standing against evil, will be counted to us as righteousness. Can we say- we’ll just not use the restrooms while shopping? No…this pacifies a corporation to justify their actions. When situations like this occur, Christians need to stand firm saying no more to demolishing tactics towards our society.
Righteousness
As we do, God marks our actions as righteousness. More marks we have with God, means closer walk we have with Him, deepening our friendship. When a miracle is needed, He’ll respond like He did with Mary…returning life back to Lazarus. Just like He did with our Gabe.
Spiritually Discerned
There have been many times, my husband and I have made decisions to stand firm with God’s Word. It’s not always corporations, it’s others identified as Christians. Holding ourselves accountable to Biblical Truth, spiritually discerned and keeping our eyes on Jesus, allows God to handle situations on our behalf. We’ll always come out ahead when doing so.
Moving Forward
As we move forward this weekend, let’s pray for all Target employees who are making tough decisions. Pray for Christians to speak truth in love. True freedom is found in Jesus Christ. Speaking Truth in love, standing firm against deception.
Be encouraged!
