Tired and Weary: Trusting God, Having Hope

Tired and Weary: Trusting God, Having HopeEven the youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. (Isaiah 40:30,31 NIV)

Tired and Weary

Oh, how I love God’s Word. With disturbing headlines this week- deception deepening, digging heels into more individuals, we can become easily tired and weary. Now that I am tilting toward older years, God acknowledges even youths become tired and weary. It’s where we place our hope, making all the difference in the world.

Renew Strength

Who’s ready to renew their strength? Spiritual strength that suffices all emotional rollercoasters this world offers. What drags you down? As exaggerated as it is, yet, its truth-the weight of the world drags me down. I’m bothered when people cannot be nice to each other- when arrogance makes one feel superior. When hurting souls are searching and too many times church does not bring warmth to them. Everyone buzzing around doing their thing, incognizant.

Power Surge

Watching eagles soar causes me to be awe-struck. When hoping in the Lord, we soar on wings, like eagles. God promises to give strength to the weary and increase power in the weak. This is very encouraging- when we realize this surge of power within came from God, it’s super sweet acknowledging His awareness of our need. God cares more than we can possibly imagine.

No Coincidence

As with laws- they are given to provide boundaries to keep us safe. God’s Word is the same way. Not a coincidence the same attack is going on in churches as they are against police officers. Two major sources meant to keep order and care for individual’s, are being attacked by forces meant to destroy. Satan is here to steal, kill, and destroy.

Trust

Thankfully we’re not left with bad news. God is willing to give life to the fullest, an abundant life. When news drags us down, let’s not forget who we trust for hope. In trusting God, we’ll run and not grow weary, we’ll walk and not be faint. Dear friends, time to trust God’s Word to be true. I do not want to be tired and weary- I’m ready to soar on wings, like eagle. How about you? Join me!

Be encouraged!
