He Has Risen! One Exciting Adventure!

He Has Risen! One Exciting Adventure!“Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples, and Peter. He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.” (Mark 16:6, 7 NIV)

Friday!

Forward Friday! Not just any Friday- Good Friday! We are moving forward, He lives! Believe in Jesus Christ and connect with God’s plan for our lives, living out an amazing adventure. I am blogging from Galveston, Tx, amazed how our path landed us here now for the second Easter in a row. We walked into a convenience store last night, to my surprise, hearing the local Christian radio station playing. This led to talking with the manager, who happened to be from Southern IL. What are the chances? May son says, “Mom, it’s Texas.” I say it’s God- only God! All part of my oldest child’s journey, attending Texas A&M. And maybe this employee might reconnect with family/friends back home- who knows? God is large and in charge.

He has Risen!

Can you imagine being one of the three women- Mary Magdalene, Mary(James’ mother), and Salome, bringing spices to anoint Jesus’ body, concerned with who would roll the stone away? Finding an unknown man (aka- angel), explaining, “He has risen!” No wonder they left trembling and bewildered, set on carrying out this message…Jesus was not there, He had risen. Oh- and don’t forget to tell, Peter. Don’t you just love this- specifically noting to tell Peter. I know John felt like he was the most loved disciple, I think all the Peters in the world hold close to Jesus’ heart.

Trust

Nothing happening in our lives right now is a surprise to God. Leaning in- learning to hear Jesus’ whisper and guidance of The Holy Spirit, our paths align straight with purpose. Surrendering self- will, which never compares to God’s will for our lives, trusting Jesus with our entire being- mind, heart, and soul. Let’s stop making any and every excuse delaying a full trust into our Lord, Jesus Christ. He has risen! He is the Savior of the world. His Word proves true. For God so loved the world, He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
