“But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him.” (John 4:23 ESV)
Monday!
Motivating Monday! As societal confusion swirls, encompassing larger areas, Spiritual Truth remains same today, yesterday and forever more. The Bible is not outdated, even as some honest religions believe it is fallible, we best believe every word to it’s entirety. In 2 Timothy 3- all scripture breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness. Our Heavenly Father is seeking true worshipers who worship in spirit and truth.
Truth
If we are reading and studying God’s Word, we become equipped- proactive instead of reacting to daily happenings. Born of flesh, living in earthly bodies…our tendency is naturally world minded. When becoming a believer in Jesus Christ, accepting Jesus as Savior, we are a new creation. Possibly, this is a missed point for many. If we stay stagnate, we’re like a pond suffering from no oxygen- nothing fresh in, nothing fresh out.
Seeking
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth. He’s the greatest gift, helping us walk this new life, renewing walks and developing a desire to know truth. This kind of truth, releases from bondage, setting people free. As faith builds, we believe more- faith and belief are like two friends who can never out-give each other. We want to do something nice for them, they want to do something nice for us. What is meaningful for one, the other may have a completely different need met. God knows all His children by name. I often ponder in wonder- how God knows the number of hairs on each of His children’s head.
Father
He is not an untouchable God, those who seek Him, find Him. The more we seek, more we find- greater knowledge revealed, greater faith established, belief in the impossible is tested, and before long…miracle, signs, and wonders will be experienced. Let’s be motivated to begin seeking truth, worshiping our Heavenly Father in spirit and truth…if so, be ready to test the impossible. For those who believe, all things are possible!
Be encouraged!
