“Listen to me, you who know righteousness, the people in whose hearts is my law; fear not the reproach of man, nor be dismayed at their reviling. For the moth will eat them up like a garment, and the worm will eat them like wool, but my righteousness will be forever, and my salvation to all generations.” (Isaiah 51:7, 8 ESV)
Love and Encouragement
Forever and God’s salvation to all generations…serious understanding necessary to grasp this fact. The Old Testament is relevant for today. As I was seeking The Lord, this sense of warmth came, wanting todays’ topic to wrap around and God’s love and encouragement felt. As societal confusion becomes clear- it’s definitely a left vs. right environment. Any blur still has society confused. Reproach is not something that will happen to a different part of the country or different group from one’s norm, reproach in today’s circumstances, derives from a volatile subject on a person’s mind.
Deception
Deception is when a wrong occurs and blame is pointed to the innocent who is identifying both the person and the wrong. I realize this sentence may not meet editors’ approval, yet, a clear image of how deception is seen. Reviling is defined as criticizing in an abusive or angrily insulting manner. This is where God’s people, the ones whose hearts honor God’s law make sure we do not react like the world. Bottom line, God’s standards are defined in The Bible. America is land of the free, home of the brave- He who is free through Christ, is free indeed. A nation full of hard working individuals, deepening their spiritual journey is hard for deception to take down. Therefore, the enemy works through opposing forces in order to gain control. The devil has always been about gaining control.
Heart to Heart
We have to be wise not to be tripped by satan. Once down, he is there with a helping hand, only to grasp and take captive. On the other hand, God promises His protection over those who are righteous in His eyes, hearts in God’s law. We are not to fear or be dismayed, their destruction will come, unless..they turn their own heart back to Christ. Lord, may this be- Holy Spirt open eyes to see, ears to hear, and hearts to understand, helping each one not to be deceived. Hugs!
