Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that could be written. (John 21:25 NIV)
Motivating Monday!
Every time I read today’s verse, I’m left in awe. Think about how many more miracles took place; individuals healed, freed from demon possession, sin forgiven and love received. With all the books read still in paper form and/or found in ebooks, people love to read. My first writer’s conference, I confessed my lack of reading books. A sweet agent encouraged me, not to let anyone there know. From that time, I have been a reading ninja…much farther advanced than day one.
Trust
We are in full swing w/baseball tournaments. Yesterday, I attended a church in Columbia, MO at The Crossing. Two things…University of Missouri is on summer break and this church was completely full. This speaks highly of trust associated with leadership, with three services provided on Sunday morning. The sermon heard, is now on my most profound list. I encourage all to listen to June 10th sermon. thecrossingchurch.com Scripture used is most intriguing.
Scripture
Scripture details are most vital in a growing faith, maturing in our spiritual journey. If sincerely seeking Jesus, minds will open to understand- as much as we can handle at the time. The more we seek, more we find…greater wisdom, knowledge, and understanding gained. We begin to view life through refreshed set of eyes- eyes that can now see, ears that can now hear, and hearts softened to understand. If hearts remain hardened, God’s purpose will be halted.
Truth
Let’s be motivated to read/study scripture, learning all we can in order to withstand life storms or when trying hard to make sense of closed doors. Scripture is life, teaching truth…not to be deceived. The Lord knows we need scripture more than ever….we have to accept.
Be encouraged!
