Deceiver: The Devil Plays Dirty- Be Watchful!

Deceiver: The Devil Plays Dirty- Be Watchful! Many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist. Watch out that you do not lose what you have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully. (2 John 7, 8 NIV)

No!

No! Distracted from Jesus’ teachings and running ahead is not good. 2 John is another quick read, reality check. At some point, this has happened to us all, except not all repent and return to Jesus’ teachings. When brothers and sisters dip into sin, The Bible directs us to help those return to Christ. Galatians 6:1 Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirt of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. Yet, what happens today, they distant themselves and remove you off social media.

Deceiver

No greater deceiver than satan and all his agents; 1/3 of God’s angels were deceived and removed with satan. He’s the father of all lies. Demon spirits are real and not to be taken lightly. When news spread of witches casting spells- yes, there are such in our country. We cannot become sucked into the underlying current in today’s culture. God is all powerful and His will prevails, no matter how hard evil comes against. No weapons against God’s children shall prosper- and God promises in Philippians 1:6- And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. We have a great amount of good happening in America. Do not let ourselves be deceived.

Temptation- realized?

The Devil plays dirtiest- when we have conquered problematic areas in our lives. For me, a caffeine addiction desiring three Mt. Dews a day. I had amazing energy and buzzed around cheerfully. When trying to stop drinking Mt. Dew on my own, headaches trumped will-power. When I fasted and prayed for 11 days giving this up, I completely walked away- no headache, nothing for over 12.5 years. Little did I realize and must not have realized at all- temptation was not even realized. What I worked hard for was soon replaced by sugar. I never was a dessert person, needing chocolate or any kind of sweet. Sugar is not our friend, sweet and all- leaves us sour. Weight gain is a vicious attack on our minds, besides our bodies. How can it all be bad?

Self- Control

As with all things, we have to have self-control. Actually, self-control is a fruit of the Spirit. What do you battle? Where does satan distract you? We must be watchful, not to be deceived. We have work to be done!

Be encouraged!
