Sin: No One In Christ, Keeps Sinning

Sin: No One In Christ, Keeps SinningEveryone who sins breaks the law, in fact, sin is lawlessness. But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him. (1 John 3:4-6 NIV)

Good Day!

A good day to read 1 John. Topics include: v 7 Dear Children, do not let anyone lead you astray. In chapter 4 Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. In v 14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. Oh, The Bible is rich in God’s guidance.

Study…

I love when authors in the NT tell us they can testify to Jesus Christ- the disciples walked this earth with Jesus. When Jesus returned to sit next to God, interceding for us…The Holy Spirit was released to live within every person accepting Jesus Christ as Savior. What if we never study our Bibles? We would miss out on our own first hand information. In today’s times, as wonderful pastors lead their churches, many false prophets, false teachers have filtrated churches deceiving with false doctrine.

Sin

Sin is America’s problem. Much has been justified and even celebrated, pride and selfishness camouflaged amongst a multitude of sin. A friend and I were discussing anxiety- I’ve never heard it presented as a sin, however, any action opposite of Jesus’ teachings is a sin. We are to be anxious for nothing, in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God– Philippians 4:6. Supplication is defined as the action or begging for something earnestly or humbly. Whatever at any time of the day, don’t let situations overwhelm. When the first wave of unsettlement hits, immediately begin quoting Scripture. Have a pain to strike- demand the devil to flee, sending the demon into the abyss. When God forgives our sin, we are forgiven; God does not hold sin against us. The devil does…

Align

In midst of societal confusion, and we are in the midst…what confounds most is how believers can be on opposing sides of moral issues. Don’t believe every person, test their spirit. And in order to be able to do this…we have to know God’s Word. What/How a person is writing or speaking aligns with God’s Word, determines if their spirit is from God, or the devil. God unites, devil divides. Avoid being deceived, led astray.

Be encouraged!
