Reward, Good, and Perfect…God’s Gifts

Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. (Psalm 127:3 ESV)

Motivating Monday!

God’s ways are beautiful and perfect. A life developing God’s purpose with gifts and talents only He can provide- not the world’s contaminated bulldozing occurring in our midst. His Word is same today, yesterday, and forever more. Aligning with Jesus is far more rewarding than any individual ideology offering. One reward aligns with God’s provision over our lives who He calls to parent- biological, adoption, or mentoring through Christ’s love.

Reward

It’s amazing to be back with each of you! I love God has given me a brain that thinks different. Taking all life experiences, I’ve learned- infused with God’s Word, His purpose, and my calling…creates me! Same for you and this makes each one unique in Christ’s purpose. Recently, I pondered God’s reward and how He loves giving good and perfect gifts. James 1:17 Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from The Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. And connecting this scripture to those we love, desiring to reward when actions are pleasing.

Gratitude

In the past six weeks- returning from Italy, we’ve had two trips to Texas A&M where our oldest received his Aggie Ring (accumulating 90 hours) and later during Final Review, he officially became a Zip wearing his senior boots. As I discussed with David, our hearts runneth over with gratitude. Gratitude to Christ Jesus our King…who has guided and helped- as many others praying for us and our children. We are not joiners, some would call us Teetotalers and likely many have no understanding who we are in Christ and our Spiritual journeys. Attention has been on parenting our children and not ourselves. I joke, yet serious..parenting is not for the faint-hearted. It takes God’s Word; praying and fasting. Where I am not called for a parent blog, we have to understand Spiritual warfare in order to keep satan’s grip from snagging our children.

Be Prepared

Good vs. Evil is always underlying our culture, creating societal confusion. Seems each day deception increases, people are blinded to truth and attack against our freedom. Enemies of America have filtrated now in our Congress. It’s critical we are not deceived, nor our children be deceived. God’s Word is key to overcoming every evil attack. Let’s be motivated to study God’s Word, and be prepared when confronted with evil. God’s ways are good and perfect, great is His reward!
