Sustain: Finding Stability, Learning Trust

Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall. But you, O God, will bring down the wicked into the pit of corruption; bloodthirsty and deceitful men will not live out half their days. But as for me, I trust in you. (Psalm 55:22, 23 NIV)

Sustain

As for me, I trust in God, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit. How about you? Someone today hear loud and clear…God cares and He will sustain you. He promises to never let the righteous fall. Should we be snagged by satan or deceitful men…keep God’s Word fresh in our hearts and minds to never be caught. Sadly, the deceived do not realize they are deceived. However, I am a firm believer…Scripture states, God’s Word will never return void:

• For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it. (Isaiah 55:10, 11)

Cultural Concerns

We can no longer be indifferent or withdrawn from cultural concerns, especially when Christians and God’s Word are threatened. We have proof when a church withdraws from preaching Biblical Truth as the infallible Word of God, teachings weaken…weakening those who are to be discipled. Resulting in majority of mature Christians leaving, and an increase of individuals justifying sin. This is within God’s Churches…and not even touching how many nonbelievers are deceived.

Light/Darkness

Thankfully, God is shining light on darkness. Children are being rescued from sex-trafficking. God’s light has illuminated this tragedy towards children. Still much work to be done. Those responsible have began killing any government connection to investigating. It’s clear to us discerning…how corrupt government has become. Good people are being blinded, unable to see Truth. We have lots of cares in the world we live. Heavy hearts for family members and friends who have left the Church or swept away by destructive forces and deception. Cast all cares on The Lord, He will sustain you.

God’s Promises

What is the answer? Anchoring ourselves in God’s Word- studying and memorizing, placing in our hearts and minds. There may be a day, we no longer have our Bibles- Lord have mercy and never let this be…yet, the cultural war…includes our freedoms. The left screams for equality- when they want supremacy. They are intolerant to Biblical Truths and we who stand firm in our Christian beliefs. God promises to bring the wicked and deceivers down to the pit of corruption- hell. They will only live half their days. For us who believe…God promises the Righteous will never fall. We must keep seeking and growing Word knowing and our relationship with Jesus Christ. Cast…cast every care on The Lord, He will sustain you and me. May we all trust in Jesus.
