Anxiety: Satan’s Tool, Attempt to Make Ineffective

Do not be anxious about anything.but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, presenting your request to God. (Philippians 4:6 NIV)

Ready to make possible what the world seems impossible? I’ve blogged on these verses not long ago, however, much need to discuss again. Increased reports and stats concerning anxiety prove fewer people understand God’s Word. When applying Scripture to daily life and specific situations, God’s power is released like a protective covering. If you could have been in my vehicle any of the three close calls this summer, you can attest to how God protected me, my vehicle, and the people/vehicles near me. Each time could have been fatal. One out of three my error. Anxiety can impact every area of life.

Peace

Thankfully, I have never been a nervous driver; quite grateful raised in Western Ky, learning to drive on hills and curves. Having God literally take the wheel, I’ve been in awe of God’s protection. Obedience to Scripture for us not to be anxious, returns God’s reasoning in Verse 7…And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Interesting, the triangle formed anxiety, hearts, and minds. Anxiety will affect our hearts and minds. Anxiety is the devil’s tool to break down impact hearts and minds have on choices made. Anxiety can worsen to point of complete ineffectiveness- exactly what the devil wants.

Cause/Effect

Remember lessons with cause and effect? Effort will have an effect on productivity. The effort we use, will determine results in the end. All the reason more to grasp source behind anxiety and demand the devil to flee- he must flee- send him and any evil spirit into the abyss. As we take God’s Word serious, studying and learning Scripture, minds are clear and hearts become pure, total transformation from our old ways. This does not just happen- we have to take action…prayer, petition, and thanksgiving will be needed to make our request known to God. Then…God’s sweet peace will go beyond understanding, hearts and minds will be guarded. This my friend, is God’s power working within.
