Most Holy Faith: Developed As We Seek…

Right Hand...But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. They said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.” These men who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit. But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. (Jude 17-20 NIV)

Motivating Monday!

What if we looked at our faith…understanding how forceful the world has become, making us question what and why we believe as we do- causing us to look at church and reading Bibles as mundane. The Bible teaches contrary to most of the leftist’s agenda. The devil knows the only way to deceive is to conquer and divide. Those who want to justify their sin- join those who have no connection to church and no base to reason why Christians live with convictions.

Scoffers

What is a scoffer? They are someone who mocks something in contempt. These individuals have likely left the church; like the devil…they have to know Biblical knowledge before they can mock. The devil certainly knows Biblical knowledge- he was a high-ranking, arch-angel, just like Michael and Gabriel. There is an old saying, misery loves company…the devil loves to grip people into believing lies, and spiritual blinding them from seeing truth concerning our country, communities, and self.

Most Holy Faith

What to do? We are to build ourselves up in a most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. In order to build ourselves in a most holy faith…we begin to set boundaries around what we read, see, and taste. To grow in a most holy faith- we grow in God- His Word, wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. This will be difficult…if reading atheist books- continuing to live a little Jesus and a whole lot of self ideologies and/or those borrowed.

Culture

Most holy faith is not a little dash of salt or light in a big bowl of darkness- as what our culture has become. Societal confusion is a term given to me when I first began writing. Now, while in prayer, I accept the fact we may have trouble handling how dark sin has become- and individuals’ involvement in such a darkened world. We must keep praying for God to shine light on all darkness.

Merciful

Jude continues to encouraged us…Be merciful to those who doubt, snatch others from the fire and save them; to others show mercy, mixed with fear-hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh. Sin is no joke and when dismissing…no reverence given to God- no fear of the Lord. When building a most holy faith…the opposite, we take sin serious, believing in hell, learning ways to overcome through God’s Word, and the more we seek, more we find. It’s here when we begin to desire greater gifts- including praying in the Holy Spirit- or speaking in tongues. More we gain and further we step in our Spiritual journeys- more of God’s power is revealed to us…truly grasping God’s love, and our ability to be merciful.

Be encouraged!
