Falsely Called Knowledge: Wandering…Faith?

Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to your care. Turn away from godless chatter and the opposing ideas of what is falsely called knowledge, which some have professed and in so doing have wandered from the faith. Grace be to you. (2 Timothy 6:20 NIV)

Motivating Monday! 

Paul’s letters to Timothy, were to encourage and challenge his successor. Paul was in prison, stating though he was in chains, God’s Word was not. (2 Timothy 2:9) Timothy was to guard was had been entrusted to his care. This lands across the board for us- what has God entrusted to our care? For me, entrusted most in my care are my husband and three children, plus our precious little Australian Shepherd, Dash. Then, I count the entire world, which can weigh heavy. I do not want to see anyone deceived by this very same happening that Paul warned Timothy.

Falsely Called Knowledge

Turn away from godless chatter, and opposing ideas of what is falsely called knowledge. When this happens, individuals have wandered from the faith. Today- over the last three decades, they have wondered exponentially. How can we call ourselves Christians, and be choosing opposite political sides? Especially, when one side is professing what is falsely called knowledge. This core elitist group controlling top Democratic leaders, controlling most media outlets- all leaving behind journalism’s rule concerning printing/citing Truth. There are two different scripts read across America. I was in the gym working out, watching CNN’s story about conflict between our First Lady and her step-daughter. They prey on conflict and destroying one of our most productive Presidents. How can the other half+ be supportive and understand? We are willing to view both sides, and discern Truth, while believing God’s Word is infallible.

Do Good!

1Peter 2:15 For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should silence the ignorance of foolish people. I believe The President is doing just this…he is able to stay focused on doing good for America, while the corrupt attempt to take him out. This is actually one of my life’s verses. Standing firm on God’s Word, trusting Jesus, and inquiring The Holy Spirit’s help to overcome any/all ignorance of foolish people. It is people who have wandered from faith- though they do not realize this..being deceived by what God sees as falsely called knowledge.

Entrusted

It’s not time to be angered or stop following, because you disagree. It is time to test Spirits. Seek Jesus and ask him if what I write is true. The Holy Spirit is The Spirit of Truth. God is faithful. We have to be extra careful, guarding what God has entrusted to our care. Spouse? Children? Neighbors? Family members? Pets? Ministries? May Jesus quicken our Spirits to know areas weakening, when needing to stand strong; helping us back on God’s straight path- God’s Will. No place I’d rather be…how about you?
