Life: Choosing Real Over Artificial…Abundant Life!

Life: Choosing Real Over Artificial...Abundant Life!Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty. But as I have told you, you have seen me and still you do not believe. All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. For I have come down from Heaven not to do my will but to do the will of Him who sent me.” (John 6:35-38 NIV)

Motivating Monday!

After a few years with an artificial Christmas tree, I felt a need to have a real one. Asking my family, vote was for the artificial. This urge did not go away, and decided to have our second tree be a real one. Once purchased, all I can think of is the difference between artificial and life.

Life

Christmas is all about life, the birth of Jesus, bread of life, coming down from Heaven to do God’s will. Though the disciples did not know what to believe early in their walk with Jesus, clearly they became matured, understanding after Jesus’ death and resurrection. This is much like our own walk with Jesus. However we have come to ask Jesus to be our Savior, we all begin at the same starting point. I don’t believe any tools used for saving souls, as long as they are God honoring, should ever be mocked. The body of Christ, has come together from the depth of pits to church filled pews. Not all stories are tragic, yet, could end tragic without Jesus.

Tap…Tap…

No need for anyone to feel empty or grasping for something to quench a stirring within…Jesus promises, whoever comes to Him, will never go hungry or be thirsty. It’s Jesus who is needed when an unanswered void lingers, prodding. It’s like The Holy Spirit taps our hearts. When prayer time has been limited…tap, tap…Jesus knows we need more. More time spent studying God’s Word, The Bible, and time spent praying-listening for God’s guidance. He is faithful.

Abundant Life!

When thinking about bread, yeast is necessary for the bread’s success. Time spent for yeast to rise varies..like our time processing past choices, current events, and daily decisions…all surrendering to Christ, receiving God’s forgiveness. Accepting The Bible, as God’s infallible Word, we are agreeing to believe every Word; promises, do’s and do not’s, all lead to God’s Righteousness and Holiness. Sooner we believe, and accept, work through the processes, faster we live life, God’s abundant life!

Be encouraged!
