“Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. “I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Motivating Monday!
Unsure if The Holy Spirit is grieving more or me, yet, I am sad to hear a very well respected pastor speak against this Scripture. No, he did not point straight to this Scripture, however, denounced the 70’s, 80’s into the 90’s faith filled words movement- have what the Word of God says you will have. I cannot be more thankful to have been raised in the 70’s, 80’s and into the 90’s. These were my formative years, and when the Word of God has been preached the most. I could not fill enough books with all the blessings, healings, and abundant life lived due to my words + developing, growing, increasing faith. Free of trouble? No. Applying God’s Word to our lives is Key.
Becoming PC?
When First Lady, M. Obama apologized to other countries for America, majority of Americans felt punched. I’m growing weary hearing pastors mock, and almost apologize for what God’s Word declares. Including, attacking those, remaining nameless, who have taught all parts of God’s Words, including faith-based words. The fire of God’s Spirit once empowered many pastors who became/becoming PC. Only for a while, lingering heat will be produced until completely out.
Word
Where we need to be motivated- we need to study and learn God’s Word for ourselves. If we did not know better, and able to correct this with our children, we would be among many misled. This same group has been taught doubting is great- place it in our tool box, (a message from the less mature.) Now, no correlation to the words we speak and God’s willingness to take our words and move on our behalf. The Word of God says…if we do NOT doubt, and believe what is said will happen- it will be done for him. This is the Word of God.
Action
Please understand, this is faith in action. We have to accept Jesus as our Savior, believe He died on the cross and rose three days later. Then, confess Jesus as our Lord…we have to accept Jesus, we have to be saved. God’s love is unconditional, yet, we have to be willing to receive His love, thus, believe what His Word says is true. In my experience, Spiritual Journey, God has removed so much the closer I became to Jesus- allowing more study time, more prayer time, gaining Biblical knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. The more we are filled with Jesus, less the world has room and will be left behind. It is the world that will be left behind, only those seeking and finding God’s holiness and righteousness…not luke warm, and not cold(Revelation 3:15) will be part of God’s remnant.
All Lives Matter…
Wide is the path leading to destruction, narrow is the gate leading to eternal life, few find (Matthew 7:13-14.) We cannot be deceived. We have to be diligent studying God’s Word. Like finding truth in the news, we have to find truth in The Bible for Spiritual knowledge. As we mature, we’ll pray for pastors, teachers, elders, leaders…all to stay true to God’s infallible Word, their God given callings. All lives matter…God does care, becoming aware of deception is vital in today’s world.
