False Prophets Revealed…Turning Hearts Back Again

“O Lord, God of Abraham, Issac, and Israel, let it be known today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant and have done all these things at your command. Answer me, O Lord, answer me so these people will know that you, O Lord, are God, and that you are turning hearts back again.” (1 Kings 18:36b-27)

Motivating Monday!

Wow! Elijah stood strong among all the false prophets and proved our God- Alpha and Omega, beginning and the end…is the true God. How many times in the Bible have God’s people turned their hearts from Him? A lot…funny using this word- it’s been over 30 years since I was in high school English and I can hear Mrs. Walker say, “If you have to use this word, make sure you separate the A from lot.” She would have preferred this word not used. God’s people have turned from Him many times throughout history.

Open our Eyes

Prophet Elijah, confronted and held accountable, making them think- “Do I believe the Lord is God, or do I believe Baal is God?” The longer this C-virus lingers, clearer our vision becomes to government officials or even Church leaderships…which side they lean, and narrative followed. Michael W. Smith’s song- open the eyes of my heart Lord, open the eyes of my heart, I want to see You. This song has really been on my heart- except open the eyes of America’s heart Lord, open our eyes, we need to see You, we need to see You. Too many have trusted in self ideologies and believe false narratives dished out.

False Prophets

Elijah struck a deal- Elijah against 450 Baal prophets; including two bulls, wood, and the God sending down fire, is the real God. Elijah went further requesting the people to pour four large jars of water on his offering and the wood. Please take time to read this story- very time sensitive. We have a country believing in false teachings, false prophets, or nothing at all. They are deceived into thinking God is not needed as others try to make God what they want. Our God, the one true God- is Sovereign. When Elijah called upon Him – the fire of the Lord fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones, and the soil, and licked up the water in the trench. When the people saw this…they fell prostate and cried, “The Lord, he is God! The Lord- he is God!”

Awakening

What the enemies meant for evil, God will turn for our good- this C-virus is a work of evil, under the direction of evil. Sadly, innocent lives have been taken, yet, may God use this to open the eyes of the blinded, deceived, and the indifferent. Awakening the slumbering, and discouraged…He is God, and He is able, Faithful and pure…satan has already been defeated. Trust Jesus in whatever circumstance happening…trust that He is God! The one-true God, can change every circumstance to align with His perfect plans for our lives. Today! Let’s be motivated to check hearts, and minds…to make sure no allegiance is given to any false god. The Lord, He is God!
