Simple Solutions Often Overlooked...Seek Jesus/Find

Naaman’s servants went to him and said, “My father, if the prophet would have told you to do some great thing, would you not have done it? How much more then, when he tells you ‘Wash and be clean’!” So he went down and dipped himself in the Jordan seven times, as the man of God had told him, and his flesh was restored and became clean like that of a young boy. (2 Kings 5:13, 14 NIV)

Forward Friday!

Wash and be clean! Simple…though we find foolish and dismiss. The world around us, many are hurting, needing solutions to problems. The answer is to seek Jesus- and allow Him to stir within us answers to questioning minds. 2 Kings 5 is a great chapter comparing and contrasting obedience to disobedience.

Imagine…

Thankfully, Naaman listened to his servants- he went and dipped seven times, becoming clean. So clean- like that of a young boy- imagine the soft skin, unlike how years and sun damage skin. God is so good- though many think God as unapproachable, hard to understand- He’s the exact opposite. He is near to us, our shield and rear guard, He promises to never leave nor forsake us, always with us. Simple! The Holy Spirit lives within every believer…ready available to consult, help, direct us into Truth.

Obedience/Solutions

Naaman wanted to bless Elisha, yet he was unwilling to receive any gift offering. Elisah’s servant, Gehazi, schemed and chased Naaman down in order to receive money and clothing. When he returned to Elisha, he lied. When a person lies, they are aligned with the father of lies-satan. This is not a good place to be- nor was this good for Gehazi. Immediately, Elisha spoke Naaman’s leprosy unto his servant, and his descendants forever, and he became white as snow. Forever….always having, never healed…forever. Sad.

Simple…

When God dealt with Gehazi’s dishonest scheme…imagine what awaits every dishonest politician and public figure who has been given a platform- misleading and deceiving at least half or near half of today’s population. As God deals with these individuals, let’s move forward freeing our minds, seeking God’s Word, and finding simple solutions for freedom that’s ours. Those who God sets free, are free indeed! Let’s take time to pray for solutions- asking Jesus and accepting simple solutions…turning what we imagine, into reality. Sweet! With God- all things are possible to those who believe, according to God’ s Will.

Be encouraged!
