Willing/Obedient Vs. Refuse/Rebel…Life or Death?

Willing/Obedient Vs. Refuse/Rebel...Life or Death?“Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow, though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool. If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be eaten by the sword; for the mouth of the Lord as spoken.” (Isaiah 1: 18-20 ESV)

Motivating Monday,

Good news or bad news first? Our country is dividing further apart- left leaning more left and right staying steadfast, grounded in God’s Word. Governors are proving this true- Republican led states are moving forward, businesses reopening, restaurants that are open are seeing a tremendous business. We waited two hours yesterday for our restaurant choice. Thankfully, used time purchasing our annual rose bushes for my husband’s mother and step-mother. Societies are ready to return, except Left thinking Governors are blocking from happening. Therefore, watch out America- Look what The Lord is going to do for those willing and obedient.

Dividing…

Written on the side, next to today’s Scripture, I wrote…For today as well. God’s Word will never go void. Isaiah was an educated prophet and knew Jewish history well. Division came to the Israelites dividing into North- Israel, and south Judah. Isaiah was from Judah, and where many of us are seeing churches near or at the same crossroad; deciding to regain footings in God’s infallible Word, or begin a slippery slope downward.

Transformation

I’ve seen this firsthand. One Pastor takes individuals three steps forward, and one takes us two steps back. Seems it’s harder for younger pastors to accept transformation into God’s holiness and righteousness- though they may want this, they want to keep world mentality- all for the sake of political correctness. God is not PC, no dividing Him- His yes is yes, and His no is no. His Word is true.

Mercy and Grace

If we are willing to accept Jesus as Savior and become obedient to His Word- we will eat all the goodness in the land. Our sins like scarlet, we’ll become white as snow. Jesus is full of mercy and grace- The Holy Spirit draws us in and becomes part of who we are; helping and guiding us through this amazing Spiritual journey. Let’s be motivated, we do have a guidebook for life! When God speaks- let’s listen. When Scripture states His words…we best take serious. God allowed this book to be written, inspiring every thought in each author- guiding and directing all their movements/thoughts.

Be encouraged!
