Amazing Things God Will Do

Joshua told the people, “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you.” (Joshua 3:5 NIV)

Are you ready?

How many are ready to see God do amazing things among you? All voices of discouragement are now behind you. We have self control and our minds are clear in order to pray. Our love will cover a multitude of sin. So, what is this consecrate? Consecrate is to declare or set apart as sacred. Scripture informs our bodies represent the temple of the Holy Spirit. Anything we do with our bodies, we do unto the Lord.

Confused?

Societal confusion has many minds confused. God is working, yet many will never recognize. When minds are confused, satan works best. This person is tossed back and forth like waves, blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming. Is this happening? Absolutely. If you do not believe this is happening, pray for God to open your eyes. He will be faithful to do so.

Condemnation?

Another trick up satan’s sleeve, he likes for you to be stuck in condemnation. He keeps pounding and pounding down further to make many feel they are never good enough to receive God’s forgiveness. Truth is not only does God forgive you, He gives you a free gift of righteousness in Him. The righteous learn to live by faith and will not be shaken. They cry out to God and He hears.

Child of Christ?

As a child of Christ, we may live in this world, yet we are not of the world. We are suppose to be set apart for a clear difference between the church and the world. The head of the church-Christ, the ruler of this world-Satan. Hard to tell the difference in many circles. Jesus is the same today, yesterday, and tomorrow. He is not the one that has changed, it’s the people. In order, for God to do amazing things among us, we have to reflect how we represent Christ in the world we live. Do you live more by God’s principles or by the world’s definition of approval?

Amazing things among us!

Choose this day who you will serve. In order for God to do amazing things among us, we have to consecrate ourselves. You are a precious, sacred jewel to God. He desires for us to be set apart. He wants the world to see Him in you. Many may come to know Christ through you because of your amazing witness as you honor Christ. Jesus says to be holy, because I am holy.
