Treasure Building…A Vital Heart Matter

Treasure Building...A Vital Heart MatterBut store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. (Matthew 6:20, 21 NIV)

Motivating Monday!

We must keep ourselves motivated when forces against us, would like for us to stop. When Monday is spoken- instantly, negative thoughts stir within individuals. I’ve always liked Mondays. Let today be the day, treasures within are identified. When Jesus’ words are in red, this is straight from him. No grapevine messages have been sent. Do we realize our treasure is found where our hearts are also? Back to mind vs. heart, which one matters most…right now the heart.

The Heart…

The heart can be most deceptive or a fountain of life. No doctor necessary, this is self- check. Take a moment and consider where thoughts and time are spent, there will be your heart. Decisions made reflect if hearts are building treasure on earth or in heaven. We can easily lose sight of this fact…the devil loves to delegate busy schedules, keeping hearts full of conflict on how time spent. A struggle for many.

Treasure

My husband and I decided long ago, we had/have 18 years to influence our children. Reflecting my own heart, most of my time has been focused on parenting, from God’s perspective. In order to parent from God’s perspective-treasure added to our heavenly accounts, we must study and learn God’s Word. True for every perspective if desiring God’s way. Our pastor has been preaching about handy downs, more about legacy we live, leaving impact on next generation. I highly recommend google LaCroix Church, listen to this series.

Good, Better, Best!

On the negative side, food has been my treasure, yet, family and friends must be praying…Panera stopped making my favorite pastry. Now…God is working within to free myself from any food control. I believe in balance, and I believe God wants order of every detail in our lives. If we are willing, God provides the way. We may not be willing, yet, God will start and we have to join, making conscious decision to try God’s way. I am confident, His way will always be for our good, always better than our best thoughts. He is faithful.

Be encouraged!
