Mocked: God says, Not. Understanding Basic 101

Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that he will reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. (Galatians 6:7, 8 ESV)

Forward Friday!

Every college degree begins with 101 classes. A basic understanding of facts necessary for higher levels. True- not all individuals desire higher level learning, same for Christians. We either believe in Jesus or not- this does not change God. Higher level learning about God avoids being deceived. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever more. Here we are…how does this impact our life? Remember…do not be deceived: God is not mocked.

Choosing…

The Bible is God’s Word, Jesus is The Word. 2 Timothy 3:16- All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.  If we reject God’s Word- who Jesus is- the world is chosen by default. Jesus will not save us against our will. When we desire to know Jesus, accept Jesus as Savior, believe He died and rose again, confess with our mouths- Jesus is Lord, we will be saved. This is just the beginning. We choose what we sow, a conscious decision daily to live for Christ. Living for Christ means we study The Bible, attend a church believing God’s Word is infallible; choosing to sow to the Spirit.

Personal Journey

During each one’s personal journey, sin is no longer comfortable. The Holy Spirit convicts when actions fail to align with God’s Word. Many have walked away from Jesus- even those still attending service once a week. Some people never mature past their salvation experience, a bit problematic when unbelievers will always watch behaviors of self-professing Christians. Those sowing to please the flesh, will reap corruption.

Who are we- Who are they?

Therefore, clusters of individuals feeding the flesh, form larger circles in the church overtaking God’s appointed leadership. Same happens on larger scales like communities, cities, states…as we see voter turnouts- which counties vote blue and which ones vote red, turning states into blue or red. This is not about political parties…it is about who we vote to run our country. Politicians are people- who stand for God’s Word or sowing the flesh, which are socialist ideologies. Basic policy 101- any politician voting for abortion- should be immediately struck off list for Believers. In Matthew 19:14 Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them,”– every unborn child, Jesus has known before in the mother’s womb- no matter circumstances. When these politicians are marked off- who do we have left? In recent years- the Republicans.

The- How?

Democrats who have walked away, no longer align with social agendas. Those who keep rejecting God’s Word- Bible says they are given over to depraved minds. Romans 1:28 NIV Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. This is how entire news networks and journalist turn completely opposite than previous fair and balanced news- taught in journalism 101. How co-workers and members of society think so opposite, they’ve listened to these news channels. (Instead of seeking God’s Word) Even today, on a Fox news fb post, I was asked who I pray to- twice trying to comment, fb removed my answer.

Mocked 

The old saying goes…birds of feathers flock together. There is not a state I love more than California. When God created this state- from North to South- pure beauty. For years, sin has flourished in this state- people flocked there in the 60’s and since, sowing into the flesh. God’s mercy and grace year upon year…there is a time when God’s wrath is followed by being mocked for so long. Once again, majority of people rejected moral candidates, and next day…fires ensued. These fires are worsening. Attacks towards Tucker Carlson’s home prove the left’s agenda worsening- spreading. God’s Word is needed more than ever- to be equipped with Spiritual armor to stand strong. Understanding Bible 101- Do not be deceived, God is not mocked, sowing into Sprit vs. Flesh will become very helpful.
