Love is in the air! It is everywhere!

Potter/Clay...Take Time, Seeking and Finding

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. (1 John 4:7,8 NIV) Hatred stirs up dissension, but love covers all wrongs. (Proverbs 10:12) Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers a multitude of sins. (1 Peter 4:8) Happy Valentines! Love is in the air! It is everywhere! What are we to do? God’s Word is true! We must love, We must love? A simple task it seems… a few we want […]

And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, “Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.” (Acts 2:38,40 NIV) Good Morning! Tender Hearts revealed through Children

http://www.dreamstime.com/-image23723095

Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. (Psalm 51:10) My day to volunteer I agreed to help in the children’s department during our Bible study this past Wednesday.  I am grateful for all the years my children were part of BSF Bible study program.  It is phenomenal what they learn.  They learn what we learn on their level.  The leaders are anointed.  I cannot easily locate this anointing in me. The morning came and I had such a resistance to go. It is not I dislike children, I really love studying the […]

What are we waiting for?

John 3:16

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. (Romans 10:9,10) People need the Lord The Word continues to tell us that everyone, I stress everyone, who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.  We are never good enough on our own.  It is through Christ who accepts us as we are. Then He will […]

Overcomer of the World

Kind, Gracious Words...Sweetness, Health

“In this world you will have trouble.  But take heart! I have overcome the world.”  (John 16:22) Jesus was serious Jesus was not kidding with us was he?  Where there are people there will be problems.  It is in the air we breathe.  See, satan is the ruler of the air. He is constantly roaming to see who he can devour.  He will find the weaker subjects who are double minded being tossed by the sea.  He brings confusion attempting to lead you into his sticky web.  Once there our struggle becomes worse.  Many people give up.  May you not […]

Thanksgiving, an Attitude of the Heart

Friends? Laying Down His Life...Greater Love

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4: 6,7) An attitude change There are times when we find ourselves in a foul mood.  I hear that Amen! When this happens, we have to immediately stop.  It is up to us to turn our attitude around.  The culprit is anxiety.  We find ourselves anxious.  I find myself anxious in traffic, with deadlines, and with messes in the house. […]

The Eyes of the Lord

Benefit: Eternal Life in Christ Jesus, Reaping....

But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love. (Psalm 33:18) The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their cry. (Psalm 34:15) Perceptions Why does Sue never have any problems?  How can Bob touch something and have gold?  These kind of thoughts are not too far from many minds.  Sometimes they are voiced as much of the time held in.  I am confident  Sue and Bob would disagree with each statement.  Perceptions are dangerous.  We must take our own eyes […]

Are we willing?

Tough Skin, Reactions- Giving God Glory

Then the Lord said to Moses, “See, I have chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and I have filled him with the spirit of God, with skill, ability and knowledge in all kinds of crafts.” (Exodus 31:1-4) Motivating Monday It is Motivating Monday! What better way to be motivated than to know what God is willing to do for one, He will also do for you!  God shows no favoritism. As people having free choice, we have to decide who we are going to favor.  Today is the last Monday in January. […]

Gift of God

Materials: Choosing Fireproof to Stand Test

For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands.  For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, love and of self-discipline. (2 Timothy 1:6,7 NIV) Fan into flames the gift of God! How do these words make you feel?  Guess what? I know you will be surprised… they make me feel empowered!  I hope many of you are with me!  However, we do not instantly get to the point of being empowered.  Let’s be realistic, Timothy was […]

Strength Under Control

Fierce Warriors, Trusting In God's Word

The jailer woke up, and when he saw the prison doors open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself because he thought the prisoners had escaped.  But Paul shouted, “Don’t harm yourself! We are all here!” (Acts 16:27,28) Choosing our reaction Today we are taking a deeper look into these two contrasting responses.  The jailer jumped in fear  and Paul stayed calm.   Paul and Silas had been falsely accused.  These two men were taken from their place of prayer into town.  The crowd grew as did the attack against Paul and Silas.  They were stripped, beaten, […]
